And with that we'd like to send a huge thank you and shout out to all of the Registered Midwives in BC that participate in making our training possible. Each of us benefits hugely from Registered Midwives who generously agree to be our preceptors throughout our clinical placements. Midwives throughout the province participate in training UBC students and without these women volunteering to teach us and share their knowledge and wisdom, the midwifery education program would not exist as it does.
So THANK YOU to all of you practicing midwives! Not only are you taking care of hundreds of families throughout BC, but you are supporting and mentoring us students to become confident, skilled, caring midwives in a professional we are all passionate about!
